Paradis Latin

5th arrondissement, Latin Quarter · Paris

The oldest of the great Paris cabarets, opened in 1889 in a theatre built with Gustave Eiffel's company. A company of around twenty dancers performs a modern revue with dinner on the Left Bank.

Going out in Paris

Paris invented the modern cabaret, and its grand revues around the Champs-Élysées and Pigalle remain the city's most famous evenings out. Book them ahead, especially at weekends. The gentlemen's clubs cluster in the 8th arrondissement, where dress codes are enforced at the door: a jacket and proper shoes are the safe choice.
