London after dark
13 licensed venues, checked October 2026.
Going out in London
Every London gentlemen's club needs a Sexual Entertainment Venue licence from its council, and those licences are hard to win, so the scene is small, regulated and stable. The polished clubs sit in Soho, Covent Garden and around Leicester Square, with later, more relaxed venues in Shoreditch and the East End. Expect an entry fee of roughly £10 to £25, a collared-shirt dress code and strict no-touching rules.
Stringfellows
London's most famous name in gentlemen's clubs, with a cocktail bar, live stages, VIP booths and private rooms. In 2026 it applied to Westminster Council to open a second club in Mayfair, on Dover Street.
Platinum Lace Leicester Square
The group's flagship on Leicester Square itself: a polished Art Deco room with shows that go beyond the pole, open until six in the morning most nights.
Platinum Lace Coventry Street
A high-end Art Deco club on Coventry Street with acrobatics and fire performances, and private suites for groups and celebrations.
Sapphire Soho
A neon-lit club on Carlisle Street in the middle of Soho, with cocktails and live performances. A good late option after dinner in the West End.
Sophisticats
A small, discreet club on Brewer Street, usually quieter than the bigger West End names, with private VIP areas.
For Your Eyes Only
A large club on City Road, convenient for the City and Shoreditch, part of a group with venues across the UK.
23 Paul Street
A late-night club a short walk from Old Street, open until six in the morning on weekdays and Saturdays.
Secrets London
West London's club in Hammersmith, part of the Secrets group.
Metropolis
A large east London club on Cambridge Heath Road with late hours.
Majingos
An east London club on Commercial Road, close to Canary Wharf.
The Nags Head
A long-running East End pub with dancers, open from the afternoon.
Browns
A traditional Shoreditch pub with dancers, open from midday.
The Griffin
A Clerkenwell pub with dancers, popular with the City's lunchtime and after-work crowd.
Listings are compiled from public sources and checked on 9 October 2026. Gentlemen's Atlas is independent and not affiliated with the venues shown.
