A golfer's weekend at Le Golf National

How to play the course that hosted the Ryder Cup and the Olympic Games, 35 kilometres from the Champs-Élysées.

Which course

The Albatros is the championship course: narrow fairways, deep bunkers and a closing stretch of four holes played around water. The Aigle is a Scottish-style links with long par threes and raised greens, kinder on a first visit. The nine-hole Oiselet is for practice.

Booking and fees

Booking is required. Green fees start at about €77, and the Albatros costs between €145 and €220 depending on the day. The course is closed on Tuesdays and hours change with the season, so check before you go.

Getting there

Take the RER C to Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines, then a taxi or bus. From central Paris, allow about an hour door to door.

Make a weekend of it

Play the Albatros on Saturday morning, return to Paris for dinner and a cabaret, and keep Sunday for the Aigle.
